a curious case of the mondays

& a little more about the usual suspects

issue no. 3

hi again.

She’s back! Picture me as Carrie Bradshaw on her laptop, except with Frankie on my lap and a big fluffy blanket. For once I’m actually excited to write this instead of spiraling into dread and last-minute panic. It’s Sunday afternoon and I’m typing away instead of waiting until Monday two hours before sending. Progress, people. Progress is being made.

This weekend was a success: grass touched, hugs given, body stretched. I even had a few conversations about this little project that inspired some of the questions you’ll see in the next few weeks. Hope your weekend was just as kind to you.

On today’s theme of letting go, my answer would be… my need for control. I want to live a little more freely. I can let people do things for me, and everything will be just fine.

Now, I know you’re curious about the others participating. I’ll share a few details… but no names. I’m keeping the mystery. Someone has to be the keeper of the answers. Scroll down when you’re ready to see who’s who, zodiac-style.

Thinking negatively about myself

1  Stressing over work. The students don’t know any better. They will do and learn whatever I plan. If it works out, great. If it doesn’t, we can try again tomorrow.

2  I want to stop white knuckling my relationships with people. Let go of having to control every situation or stop feeling the need to define everything. I want to take people as they are and accept them for what they can give. Friends, family and men

There’s always something special in the act of letting go. What will you do to make it happen? Any advice for the rest of us?

k, thanks.
love you! bye!
